The Africa Pet Industry Expos are the largest platforms for manufacturers, distributors, retailers and service providers in the pet products and animal-related industries in Africa to meet, connect and do business with African and international counterparts.

Held within the larger AFMASS TRADE EXPO events in Africa, the Expos connect the emerging pet products ecosystem in Africa with global and regional industry leaders, offering the only pan-African trade shows focused on the sector. 

With two editions in Africa (Nairobi, Kenya and Lagos, Nigeria), the expos bring the perfect opportunities to facilitate the growth of the petfood, petcare and adoption of new technologies and practices across Africa’s pet ecosystem. 

Projections show that Africa’s petfood and care industry set to rise from the current US$5-6 billion to about US$7 billion by 2030, and further to USD 15-18 billion (in nominal terms), on the back of strong, sustained economic growth, rising urbanization, and continued growth in discretionary pet spending.
